It's hard to know whether it's a fault of the toy/scratching post or just that my particular pet did not like it. The scratching post looked nice and fit the house decor but not once was my cat interested in scratching the post or playing with the toy despite my best efforts to follow all tips online to convince a cat into using it. This cat will play with and scratch most things (though in general is a touch lazy) so I personally am unlikely to purchase another sisal product based on this.
