Author Biography:

Edmundo Oliveira is a native of Brazil and an internationally recognized Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology. He has been developing technical scientific activities for the United Nations and he provides expert services to South American, European, and American Crime Prevention Committees. He is a member of the International Penal and Penitentiary Foundation and is the Scientific Consultant of the European Institute of the United Nations for Crime Prevention and Control. Professor Oliveira is a complete Jurist who is committed to offering important contributions to the Science of Law.
