Description

Paige, Lori and Zel, our Dance Series ballerinas, return to watch the Nutcracker auditions at New York Company Ballet, longing for the days when they were the age and height to be Clara, the coveted role. As they watch the young hopefuls they bet on which girl will get the chance of a lifetime. What will happen when competitive dance queen Macayla and her ballet bunhead stepsister Alexa both want the part? Who will get it and how will this affect the newly blended family's Christmas? Will it bring them together or pull this family apart? Will young Shannon be able to handle the rehearsal and performance schedule a professional performance demands? And will Jenny's high powered business exec parents actually get her to rehearsals and shows between conference calls and out of town meetings? Visions of Sugarplums introduces the Dance Series to a new generation of dancers. Start with Visions of Sugarplums, then go back and read the whole series.
