As a digital artist and designer, the Wacom Intuos Pro is the best drawing tablet on the market without a screen of its own. Bit pricey, sure, but worth it in the long run. Great size, industry standard, easy to transport. The addition of the pencil case for carrying the pen and other accessories is very welcome.
This is clearly a very high-end artist's tablet, just taking all the components out of the artfully designed packaging is quite entertaining, but be warned, the bag containing the paper is stuck in place with a sticker that will tear the cardboard case when you take it out, so careful there. There are so many considerate accessories and design features! You can use this tablet left or right handed, there are loads of spare nibs, there is a sample pack of different surface textures, there is everything you need to get charged up and started right out of the box. The USB cord is of a generous length, the pens have interchangeable identification color rings so you can tell which pen you are using at a glance, the sensitivity is superb, it is tricky to set up the software at first, and a bit of a learning curve to get all you can out of this device with the many adjustments you can make, but sustained use will see you become an expert pretty quickly. I am very happy with this purchase and have put it to good use several times already.
