Growing up with a learning disability made books a nightmare for me. I decided I would not let that stop me from enjoying words. After the wise advice of my son's third-grade teacher, Carla Sensing, I followed a dream and started enjoying books. "Read the first chapter; if by the end of the chapter you don't enjoy the story, then put it down and find a different book to read. Never stress over a single word in a book; move on past it. That one word won't change the outcome of the story."My goal is to write stories that take you into the journey and keep you entertained along the way.
