Description

How can you be the hero... if you're the monster? Walking home during a full moon, Max is only worried about getting home late. He should be worried about the werewolf sneaking up behind him. Barely escaping with his life, Max soon notices strange changes happening to him. He's stronger, faster, heals almost instantly, and can hear and smell the smallest things. But Max is unprepared for the biggest change of all, the change that comes during the next full moon. Max discovers a dark world he never knew existed. Fierce and terrible werewolves, mysterious and powerful banshees, and mobs of mindless zombies lurk in the dark. Max must fight the monsters that threaten his home. But in the end, Max might be the most dangerous monster of all.

Author Biography:

N. A. Davenport is an author of exciting books for young readers. Her first series is a middle-grade werewolf-zombie adventure, Werewolf Max and the Midnight Zombies. She wrote these books when her own son was having trouble finding any that were easy to read and also interesting enough to keep his attention. Frustrated that the selection seemed so small, she decided to write some books for him herself. Books that were lightning-paced, wild, and dangerous. Books that would sink their teeth into a kid and not let go. Davenport lives with her husband, Bryan, her three children, and her dog and Cat, who are an endless source of inspiration and do their best to assist her whenever possible.
