Description

One damp morning on one of many trips from London to Jamaica, as the airplane began its ascent into the mystifying airways, Marcia P. Samuels had a profound thought and put pen to paper, forty-five minutes later she had written a ten-page prose entitled, "What in Hell do you want?" Little did she know at that time, the impact this poem was destined to make in so many lives. Some years ago after reading the Poem at a Youth Rally in San Diego, California, Marcia learned that a young man, who was in the building that night, went home and retracted all suicide letters he had written and mailed earlier that day to friends and family. After that night, he told everyone that, What in Hell Do You Want? the poem, was all he needed to hear. This story is just one of so many life-impacting testimonies that Marcia has heard. On a bright Saturday Morning in March of 1993, following a conversation with a friend, Marcia transformed the poem into what would become the phenomenal, life changing Hit stage musical, TELL HELL I AIN'T COMIN'. In 2005, the stage version was filmed for DVD. As with the poem and the live show, the DVD is continuously changing lives the world over.
