Author Biography:

Judith Simon Prager is a teacher, writer, lecturer and therapist who has trained physicians, nurses, firefighters, and other first responders across the US, in England and in China in the use of Verbal First Aid for adults and children. She has a private practice in Los Angeles and is a long-time, award-winning instructor in the UCLA Ext. Writers' Program. She has authored and co-authored fiction and non-fiction books including The Worst is Over: What To Say When Every Moment Counts, which has been called "the 'bible' for crisis communication" by The International Journal of Emergency Mental Health.
