Description

Atlanta is blanketed with snow just before Christmas, but the warmth of young love just might melt the ice in this novel of interwoven narratives, Black joy, and cozy, sparkling romance—by the same unbeatable team of authors who wrote the New York Times bestseller Blackout! As the city grinds to a halt, twelve teens band together to help a friend pull off the most epic apology of her life. But will they be able to make it happen, in spite of the storm? No one is prepared for this whiteout. But then, we can’t always prepare for the magical moments that change everything. From the bestselling, award-winning, all-star authors who brought us Blackout—Dhonielle Clayton, Tiffany D. Jackson, Nic Stone, Angie Thomas, Ashley Woodfolk, and Nicola Yoon—comes another novel of Black teen love, each relationship within as unique and sparkling as Southern snowflakes.

Author Biography:

Dhonielle Clayton loves magic. She loves it more than anything ... even pizza or warm chocolate chip cookies. So she reads millions and millions of books to find some in the real world, because magic makes everything much more interesting. She grew up in Washington, DC, suburbs on the Maryland side and is a former secondary teacher and librarian. She is a New York Times–bestselling author the COO of the non-profit We Need Diverse Books, and owner of Cake Creative. The Marvellers is her middle-grade debut. Twitter and Instagram @brownbookworm dhonielleclayton.com Tiffany D. Jackson is the author of the critically acclaimed, NAACP Image Award-nominated Allegedly and Monday's Not Coming. A TV professional by day, novelist by night, she received her bachelor of arts in film from Howard University and her master of arts in media studies from the New School. A Brooklyn native, she is a lover of naps, cookie dough, and beaches, currently residing in the borough she loves, most likely multitasking. You can visit her online at www.writeinbk.com. Angie Thomas is a horticultural consultant to Yates, and is passionate about the health and benefits of gardening, and about teaching and inspiring people how to garden. She is also mad about growing food and filling her house with indoor plants and the scents from her garden. Ashley Woodfolk has loved reading and writing for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Rutgers University and worked in children's book publishing for over a decade. Now a full-time mom and writer, Ashley lives in a sunny Brooklyn apartment with her cute husband, her cuter dog, and the cutest baby in the world.
