"Cute but 1/2 the chapters are hard to read."

Will Grayson, Will Grayson is a cute story written from the perspective of two different teenage boys with the same name. John Green writes as one Will Grayson and David Levithan writes as the other in alternate chapters. David's chapters are written with out capitals, this makes it hard to read, I did spend my time skipping through them just to get to John's chapters.
The saving grace for this book was Tiny, he brought comedy to the book and just made it readable.

With a main character who is the world's largest really gay guy, and gayest really large guy, Will Grayson, Will Grayson is a great example of accepting the differences of others. The lives of two young men who share a name is told chapter by chapter, turn and turn about. We learn of their problems, interests, friends, or lack of friends, and their chance meeting that is the beginning of a change in both their lives. John Green and David Levithan do not write about their characters, they truely create them, and let us see into their minds for a select amount of time. This is definitely a recommended read :)

Review

*Starred Review* "Two superstar authors pair up and really deliver the goods, dishing up a terrific high-energy tale of teen love, lust, intrigue, anger, pain, and friendship threaded with generous measures of comedy and savvy counsel. Though the ensemble cast revolves around Tiny Cooper, “the world’s largest person who is really, really gay, and also the world’s gayest person who is really, really large,” the central characters are the two titular narrators, who share a name (but don’t meet until partway through) and trade off alternate chapters. One Will has been Tiny’s satellite for years but is starting to chafe at the role-especially after Tiny forcibly sets him up with Jane, an infuriatingly perfect match. The other, whose clinical depression is brilliantly signaled by an all-lowercase narrative and so intensely conveyed that his early entries are hard to read, sees at least a glimmer of light fall on his self-image after a chance meeting with Tiny sparks a wild mutual infatuation. The performance of an autobiographical high-school musical that Tiny writes, directs, and stars in makes a rousing and suitably theatrical finale for a tale populated with young people engaged in figuring out what’s important and shot through with strong feelings, smart-mouthed dialogue, and uncommon insight."
