Author Biography

Rockie Sue Fordham (nee Daffern) wears all kinds of caps and hats. She is an author, a speaker, a teacher, a pianist, a church musician, a housewife, a pastor's wife of 30 years, and the mother of four. She and Lane, her husband of 33 years, reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado. RockieSue graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 1985. She and Lane were home missionaries in Florida through the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board in 1985-89. They founded three churches during that period. She has recently co-authored the Association of Christian Schools International's (ACSI) 4th and 5th grade Bible curriculum, wrote the youth series The Heavenly Host Series, and authored the ministry oriented book, It's Hard to Drain the Swamp When Yer up to Yer Ears in Alligators! She currently maintains a blog with that same title. Its purpose is to help guide young ministers and their wives in ministry and provide evidence that "In the beginning God created . . ." just as the Scripture teaches.
