KARNA SMALL BODMAN served six years in The Reagan White House, first as Deputy Press Secretary, later as Senior Director of the National Security Council. This experience inspired her to write this children's picture book. She is also the author of five award winning adult novels. She is a founding Trustee of Naples Community Church in Naples, FL, where she lives with her husband and two loveable dogs. SUSAN SPELLMAN, fine artist and illustrator, began a career as an illustrator of children's books and magazines and is now an avid Plein air painter and exhibits paintings in numerous regional galleries and art organizations throughout the North Shore of MA and the NH seacoast.
