Description

Have you ever wondered what your purpose is or for what you were made? Does it ever feel like you are supposed to look a certain way or be something you aren't? Even when our calling is right before us, we may still need the time and courage to see it. Learn from Rusty that through faith and trust we can all find our place! Rusty is a Wyoming native and registered paint horse. He was a big surprise when he was born without any of his parents fancy painted spots or coloring. He grew into the most gentle and honest gelding, much more important traits than his coloring! He has been loved by hundreds and taught many lessons to those who have known him. This is his story!

Author Biography:

Mary grew up riding and roping which gave her a bold western identity. She is a graduate of the University of Wyoming and her cowgirl spirit has grown stronger through life experiences and living in the cowboy state. The strong roots of the western lifestyle gave her the character to manage the challenges and change required for a military wife and mother of four. It has become her passion to share her love of the west and all she has learned from the many horses she has loved.. Having her daughter illustrate her tales is the grandest adventure. Her hope is that you will laugh and smile as you see a little bit of life through a horse's eyes. Roslan was raised under the same beautiful western skies. Her love of horses along her natural talent in art made her the obvious choice for illustrator. The bright colors and fun characters mesmerize little ones who love the stories. Roslan is attending the University of Wyoming where she is studying to become an elementary school art teacher. Roslan and Rusty and shared many ribbons and adventures and through her skills in watercolor she hopes to share him with readers everywhere. "Everyone should meet Rusty!"
