Universal Pictures

Universal Studios (aka. Universal Pictures), the American film studio founded by Carl Laemmle back in 1912. He passed on the studio to his son Carl Jr. who later persuaded his father's ambition and produced many famous works from Frankenstein to Dracula and The Mummy (usually dubbed as “Universal Horror”.

Universal Studios is now one of the largest studio with many popular films from Jaws, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, Despicable Me, Fast and Furious and more! Their gross revenue reached $4.2 Billion dollars (2011). The top 20 of Universal Studio's highest-gross films include: Ted, Liar Liar, Gladiator, The Bourne Ultimatum, Bruce Almighty, Minions and Jurassic World.
