Mighty Ape's birthday is approaching. Mighty Ape celebrates it's seventh
year on September 26th.
We want to know when your birthday is. You might receive a little something
from us when your birthday comes around (hint, hint :P). Log into your
Mighty Ape account, and go to the Change
My Account Details page to input your birth date.
If you have already given us your birth date you are already in the draw. If
you need to change your birth date (and I have absolutely no idea why you
would need to) you can also do that by contacting our customer service

The short story
- Leftbrain Group went into liquidation and was purchased by Mighty Ape
- We decided that we could deliver a better experience (faster delivery on a
wider range of toys) for customers by folding iQ Toys, Baby Universe, Gumboot
and the other Leftbrain sites into Mighty Ape vs. running the site
independently
The long story
Back in April this year, Leftbrain Group Ltd went into voluntary liquidation.
Customers were faced with the possibility of not receiving orders they had paid
for – and suppliers and other creditors were required to seek payment from a
liquidator.

Our Adult

Today we made an improvement to the way we send marketing email at
Mighty Ape.
The change is designed to:
- give you more visibility. Answer the question “why am I receiving this
email?”
- allow you to unsubscribe in a more granular way i.e. “I want to receive
email related to Games that I’ve purchased, but not about Homeware that I’ve
purchased”
Starting today, when you click Update your subscriptions from a
marketing email sent by Mighty Ape, you will see a page that lists exactly why
you received the email. The page will look something like the example in the
image on the right.
In this hypothetical example, the you received the email because you
purchased a product from the LEGO brand. If you're no longer interested
in LEGO (!?) then clicking Unsubscribe from the LEGO brand will stop
further emails being sent to you about LEGO.
