David Hyde is a self-taught artist who had a natural talent for drawing and painting since childhood. He discovered a great liking for demonstrating and enjoys travelling and meeting artists and art groups around the country. He now exhibits work locally and through national exhibitions in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Liverpool. He holds regular weekend workshops and organises painting breaks in both watercolour and acrylic. His interests include travelling and birdwatching, interests he shares with his wife Maureen. Carole Massey was born in Hertfordshire and studied at St. Alban's School of Art and Leicester School of Art & Design. After a career in advertising and graphic design, Carole returned to her first love, painting, full-time. She now teaches and runs weekend workshops, as well as organising painting holidays. Carole's work is exhibited widely, and she is particularly known for her celebrity portraits, mostly inspired by photographs. She uses a wide variety of media including acrylic, watercolour, pastel, pencil and monochrome.
Wendy Jelbert is a teacher and professional artist who works in pastels, oils, acrylics, inks and watercolours. She enjoys experimenting with different ways of using mixed media and texture and her sometimes unconventional methods often produce surprising and original results.
