Description

Celebrating the one-year anniversary of the initial publication, the 2018 Anthology Edition of 2017's AGE OF WAR: THE STORY OF ASBJORN retells the original grandeur of the First Mc'Aoidh's life story. THE AGE OF WAR: THE STORY OF ASBJORN centers around the Father of Kings, the First Mc'Aoidh, and the legendary ancestor of Brian: Asbjorn of Vahlavus. The story is set centuries before the Nahvorian Civil War, where a war amongst five nations divided the land. As king of one of these nations, Asbjorn made it his duty to achieve unity by confronting the other four kings. His task would not be easy to accomplish, but with the help of his cousin Mhuir, Asbjorn rose above treachery, heartbreak, and his own rage in order to succeed.

Author Biography:

Noah Matthew MacKay was born in suburban Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1997. Three years later, Noah and his family moved to eastern North Carolina, where he was raised. In 2005, Noah was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, a form of high-functioning Autism. As a child, Noah loved to draw pictures and write stories of his own - a typical trait for people with the Asperger's Syndrome. At age 16, in 2014, Noah M. MacKay self-published his first novel titled BLACKSMITH. The book was followed with two installations that were published respectfully on January and June of 2015. In 2016, MacKay had published his first fantasy novel titled Age of War, as well as a German poetry/short story book Der Autismus hlt mich nicht auf (Autism doesn't hold me back). A year later, in 2017, MacKay published the prequel to the fantasy novel, subtitled, The Story of Asbjorn. In addition, Noah published his second German poetry book Gefhrlich (Dangerous). Furthermore, in 2017, Noah wrote the sequel to 2016's Age of War, titled Age of War II, and published a third poetry book Durch den Rauch (Through the Smoke). In 2018, MacKay composed a collection of his best German poems, which is titled Die Gedichte (The Poems). In addition, special editions of 2016's Age of War were made to enhance The First Trilogy. Noah M. MacKay now attends East Carolina University, where he majors in physics and mathematics, and minors in German. He also co-founded the university's first official astronomy club, which he presides alongside ECU's Society of Physics Students chapter. MacKay also undergoes theoretical research in gravitation.
