Amelia Taylor is a beautiful and kind high school junior who has just moved to the town of River Valley. Her dad Dr. Scott Taylor is the coroner for the town and is encouraged by the wealthy doctors and hospital board members to send his daughter to the local Catholic School and avoid River Valley High School. Olivia immediately becomes the focus of star quarterback Mitch Appleman. Mitch along with his football buddies and cheerleaders including Amelia attend the county fair demolition derby. While there Amelia meets Brayden Roberts a boy with a bad reputation from the wrong side of town. Amelia is immediately attracted to Brayden but must find out if his bad boy-player reputation is true or not. Brayden's friends Beau, Booker, and Benito (known the killer B's) don't care for Amelia, and she quickly discovers that her classmates at Bishop Leo despise the killer B's and everyone else from River Valley High School. Forces try and keep Amelia and Brayden apart until they are stung by love and by a genetically modified Asian Hornet created by a crazy and eccentric scientist who lives near Brayden.
