Loved Bioshock? You'll love this one for sure. The developers of Bioshock
carefully read every single complaint about their game and improved it to bring
you this – Bioshock 2. The single player is the bulk of this game –
gritty, intense and a story that could have come straight out of a movie.
Texture detail is insane, voice acting is top-notch and the soundtrack?
Incredible. Too often did I find myself amp up the volume just to listen to the
intensity and feeling I got from the beautifully designed symphony.
The city of Rapture is now even older than the original and the graphics and
lighting help enormously to add a true feeling that this crumbling city has many
secrets to hide. Ambient sounds like squeaks, rattles and voices fade in and out
of your speakers adding a feeling of tension and suspense. Who knows what lurks
around every corner? There are a ton of surprises that await in this ancient
city. Then once you've finally completed the enthralling story –
There's 4 possible endings – You've got an addictive online multiplayer
that takes place in Rapture before the single player. The gunfights are intense
and the ability to combine fire balls and guns never gets old.
All in all, it's a visual and audio masterpiece that will be a much wanted
addition to anyone's collection. Scrape up that cash, this one is a buy.
