His main research areas are the application and analysis of metaheuristics and neural networks as well as decision support systems. Kai Spohrer is Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Germany. His research interests include coordination and team cognition in software development and IT healthcare.
