"Hogwarts Battle"

This has to be my favourite game to play. I love that there are different levels that you work through, this makes it very easy and quick to learn. It's great that there is an expansion with another on the way for more fun.

The only down side is that the game is a little unbalanced. It becomes much harder to win when you have the full four players and sometimes its just the luck of the draw of the order of the villains that allow you to finally win the level.

Otherwise, lots and lots of fun and great to play with kids around 7 and up.

"Ok - not exciting"

The enjoyment of this game comes from seeing your favourite characters and spells. The card-game mechanics are pretty mundane and their is no real thrill or excitement in playing this game. Would recommend Dominion over this.

"Long but worth it!"

This game is so much fun. If you're a Harry potter fan you will definitely enjoy it. The only downside is the game length which can be up to 2–3 Hours. I really enjoy the campaign aspect a lot too as you progress through the books.

The forces of evil are threatening to overrun Hogwarts castle in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle, a cooperative deck-building game, and it's up to four students to ensure the safety of the school by defeating villains and consolidating their defences. In the game, players take on the role of a Hogwarts student: Harry, Ron, Hermione or Neville, each with their own personal deck of cards that are used to acquire resources.

By gaining influence, players add more cards to their deck in the form of iconic characters, spells, and magical items. Other cards allow them to regain health or fight against villains, keeping them from gaining power. The villains set back players with their attacks and Dark Arts. Only by working together will players be able to defeat all of the villains, securing the castle from the forces of evil.
