Author Biography:

ALEXANDER ZOUEV graduated with the IB Diploma in 2007. He received 43/45 points including a high 7 for Economics HL and perfect marks on the IA component. He went on to study Economics and Management at the University of Oxford, followed by an MSc in Mathematical Finance from Bayes Business School. He is now pursuing a PhD whilst still tutoring students in IB Mathematics and IB Economics. ALEXANDRA LAPUTINA graduated with the IB Diploma from Letovo school in 2022. She received 43/45 points as her final score, with 7s in all subjects including Economics HL. She is now studying Computer science at Columbia University and plans to pursue a career at the crossroads of coding and writing.
