Author Biography:

JOANNA PIOTROWSKA graduated with the IB Diploma in 2023. She received 45/45 points including a 7 for Geography SL with 25/25 on the IA component. She is now studying Chemistry at Radboud University and plans to pursue a career in research in this field. ALEXANDER ZOUEV [editor] graduated with the IB Diploma in 2007. He received 43/45 points including a high 7 for Geography HL and perfect marks on the IA component. He went on to study Economics and Management at the University of Oxford, followed by an MSc in Mathematical Finance from Bayes Business School. He is now pursuing a PhD in Philosophy whilst still tutoring students in IB Economics and IB Geography.
