Mule Variations is the twelfth studio album by Tom Waits, released on April 16, 1999 on the ANTI- label. It was Waits first studio album since The Black Rider (1993), won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album, and was nominated for Best Male Rock Performance for the track “Hold On”. Mule Variations offers the most complete picture of Tom Waits of any of his albums. Edgy stomps, humour and experimentation are interspersed with some of the most beautiful and personal songs he’s ever written.
Remastered and pressed on 180 gram vinyl.
