I loved this book so much I've bought one for my Mum. She'll love it as much as I do, and she won't have to give her copy back.
This is not a diet book, it's in the title, but let's repeat it again – THIS IS NOT A DIET BOOK. This book is for EVERYONE. This is much more than a lifestyle book or ‘self help’, James Smith has truly created something that is so diverse it just ‘fits’ into all sections of life.
It is well written, clever and FUNNY, be prepared to be fully absorbed start to finish, as James sneakily throws in so many facts and topics of interest so not one person could walk away not having learnt something new that will truly benefit them and those around them.
Don't get (too) caught up on the pretty face, charm, occasional swearing or assumption that this book is for those wanting to get fit or lose fat. James Smith is a no-nonense educator first and foremost, the epitome of doing the hard work, questioning the norm, being passionate and learning the tools to change your own life.
Not A Diet Book takes the noise and confusion out of the vast overpopulation of opinions, pseudoscience, and as he puts it, “blue tick gravitas” surrounding common questions in the health and lifestyle industry.
