In the first ever ‘M1 Derby’ with their local rivals the Broncos, the Titans side faced the reigning Premiers in a gripping encounter at Suncorp Stadium. However it was the young upstarts from down the road who displayed impressive energy and commitment to secure a maiden victory against their vaunted opponents.
