Description

Social media continues to influence - dominate, even - many aspects of our personal and professional lives. How we communicate and collaborate. How we market and sell our businesses and services. How we engage and communicate with the people that work for us and buy from us. How we consume information. How and where we do the work that we do. In particular, social media has profound implications for the leaders of organisations. We live in an increasingly open and transparent world which offers organisations the chance to rethink some of the old ways of working - but for many leaders and businesses alike, social media is still misunderstood or a missed opportunity. This book is part of a practical series about how to use social media and is targeted at the busy executive or business leader. It will explain why understanding and being social is important for individuals and organisations alike and why, whatever your personal perspective on all things social media, leaders cannot afford to ignore it. The authors share their own experiences of what social has done for them and give you some ideas on how to implement social for the benefit of you, your leadership style and your business. This is the social world. Are you ready?
