YASAR A. OZCAN, PH.D., is professor of health administration at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is an internationally renown expert in the use of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Dr. Ozcan currently serves as Interim Executive Director, Office of International Education, Virginia Commonwealth University. He is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Health Care Management Science and past-president of Health Care Applications Section of Institute for Operations Research and Management Science (INFORMS). He has contributed several book chapters to the Encyclopedia of Operations Research and Management Science, Centennial Edition, Eds. S. I. Gass and Carl M. Harris, Kluwer Academic Publishers. He is the author of Health Care Benchmarking and Performance Evaluation(Springer, 2008).
