Elizabeth (Liz) Hilby has been married to her love, Lester, for 40+ years. They have two children and two grandchildren. Liz holds a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Counseling and is retired from the school system where she worked with Special Needs Children for 23 years That, and her love for God and people is where her inspiration comes for writing. She has devotionals for both adults and children as her focus in writing is to encourage others in their faith walk and give them hope. Recently, she has expanded to children's fiction with her Grow With Me Children's Series.Liz loves playing with Evie and spending time with family. Other hobbies are camping, teaching quilling and crafts. Liz also feels blessed to lead a lady's ministry group. Evelyn Grace, granddaughter to author Elizabeth Hilby, is a Girl Scout with an active imagination. She is full of life and ideas for having fun. Although older now, she was in preschool when this little jingle came about as she ate a bowl of strawberries. When asked what to title her song she replied, "Eat Strawberries", because I want to tell kids to eat strawberries because they are good for you."
