This work aims to present a new posture for action in environmental education in schools of segments to young people and adults, in order to develop and encourage them to the importance and responsibility to preserve, promote and monitor the environment, pointing ways to practice environmental projects through composting. The composting system is a proposal for social transformation of which generates awareness to the citizen, that the same is a social agent in the community and its family environment, but the bad social and environmental habits have generated disuse and disposal of waste in inappropriate sites transgressing and attacking the environment, bringing devastating environmental upheavals by exacerbated consumerism which results in excess waste in nature.
