Description

This is an information archive of the books authored by Michael Beloved on the subjects of yoga and meditation, reincarnation, astral projection, supernatural/spiritual perception, Krishna's and Patanjali's teachings.

Author Biography:

Michael Beloved took his current body in 1951 in Guyana. In 1965, while living in Trinidad, he instinctively began doing yoga postures and trying to make sense of the supernatural side of life. Later on, in 1970, in the Philippines, Michael approached a Martial Arts Master named Mr. Arthur Beverford. He explained that he wanted a yoga instructor. Beverford identified himself as a disciple of the great yogin, Rishi Singh Gherwal. Beverford taught him the traditional Ashtanga Yoga with stress on postures, attentive breathing and brow chakra centering meditation. In 1972, he entered the Denver Colorado Ashram of Kundalini Yoga and took instruction in Bhastrika Pranayama and its application to yoga postures. Later in 1979, he formally entered the spiritual society founded by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada. Michael no longer participates in any formal spiritual groups or societies; however in recent years, he devoted much time to writing multiple interpretations of the Bhagavad Gita including a focus on kriya yoga, karma yoga, and brahma yoga. He also translated the Uddhava Gita and provided a detailed commentary of the masterpiece. Most of his work is deeply philosophical and psychological in nature and is a reflection of a lifetime of dedication and austerity towards passing on the knowledge of those who instructed him. Michael's specialty is kundalini yoga and advanced meditation which was explained by Patanjali Mahayogin, as samyama which is the sequential development of linking one's attention to a higher reality, first with special effort, then spontaneously, and finally without effort and continuously.
