It takes more than just a pretty website to create an award-winning online shopping site. Based in New Zealand and with daily flights across the Tasman to Australia, Mighty Ape is run from a large open-plan office that's connected directly to a vast 5,500m2 warehouse (soon to be 10,000m2!). On a busy day, there are as many as 130 hard working monkeys under a single roof!

Mighty Ape operates out of a 5,500m2 distribution centre where 705,202 of our fastest selling products are held in stock that can be delivered within 1-2 business days to most Australian metro areas via DHL Express.

Picking your order

Ready for your order

The backend systems that power Mighty Ape are custom made by our in-house web development team. New products are stocked in, assigned to a bin and then shelved in a location that's easy to find. When you place your order, we know exactly where to find what you want to buy.

Packing your order

Made to measure

When the products in your order have been picked, they go to our dispatch team for labeling and packaging. Depending on the size of your order, your products will either be sent in a branded Mighty Ape box or courier satchel.

We love experimenting with new systems to ensure customers enjoy the same speedy service no matter how big the company grows. Our new conveyor system automatically sorts orders into the correct region (e.g. Auckland, North Island, South Island & Australia) to accelerate courier processing.
