He grew up in a cultural family, and all his children were introduced to Islam and the Qur'an by attending mosques and religious meetings from the very childhood, and the great interest and deep connection of Martyr Mohammad Hossein Yusuf Elahi with Nahj al-Balagha was also rooted in this era.During the Iran-Iraq war, Martyr Yusuf Elahi was active in the 41st army of Tharullah and in the intelligence and operations unit, and later he was chosen as the deputy commander of this unit. This honorable martyr was seriously injured five times during the imposed war.
