Richard L. Stein writes on many subjects in many genres. However, to date, he has published in the realm of the young. When queried by a young student at a school appearance as to the best part of being an author, Mr. Stein quickly replied: "Right now." He really enjoys children and their responses to any of his works or to works of any other writer. He loves their unique inferences, ofttimes, ones he admits he would never have considered. He has visited hundreds of classrooms following his teacher/administrative career in Ohio public schools. He has keynoted multiple young author events and presented at teacher workshops in various states.
