Author Biography:

Award winning Historian Thomas D. "Tom" Perry is the author or editor of over fifty books on regional history along the Virginia/North Carolina state lines. A graduate of Virginia Tech, Perry studied under James I. Roberston, Jr., Perry is a recognized expert of Civil War General J. E. B. Stuart and is the author of the very successful Beyond Mayberry: A Memoirs of Andy Griffith and Mount Airy, North Carolina.
